Fiscal Year 2023 Compensation, Benefits, and Classification Study
The Town of Kingston was awarded a Community Compact Grant for a Compensation, Benefits, and Classification Plan Study to be conducted in Fiscal Year 2023. The normal bid process awarded GovHR as the firm to conduct the study. The Town focused on regular, exempt and nonexempt positions throughout the Town, not including School employees. Positions in all 5 unions; Kingston Town Employee Union Labor, Kingston Town Employee Union Clerical, Patrol Officers, Police Sergeants, and Firefighters, were included, as well as positions under employment contracts and those falling within the Wage and Personnel Bylaw.
Thank you to the employees, Department Heads, and leadership who actively took part in the Study, as well as the comparable communities for completing and returning survey data.
